I want to modifiy the name on my "home folder". I have tried many things but nothing works. I am sure it is simple. How to do it?

Make sure that you have full and tested backup by way of Time Machine or a clone that you can restore from. I've read on here occasions where it's all gone pear-shaped for some.
You shouldn't try to change the name of your home folder. The system needs the name to be what's assigned to it.
