in numbers i want it to calculate a final payment date for me
for example i bought something on the 1st January 2013 and i pay a weekly cost for 20 weeks can i get numbers to calculate that final payment date?

You can use a formula like:
C2=A2+7*B2
there are 7 days in a week so 20 weeks * 7 days is 140 days. addition to a date is implied in days.
