Another Safari memory problem

1. I have searched the discussions about this problem regarding excessive usage of memory. Here, have a link

http://cyanfiction.wordpress.com/2013/04/11/it-escalated/
2. Most of the solutions are:

-resetting safari

-closing and reopen safari
-disable extension

3. These solution above is not really helping because

-resetting safari will delete my history, log ins, credentials, etc.

-it's kind of anti-intuitive if Apple made an app that we have to worry about this memory problem by reopening the app.

-if I disable the extension, there's no reason why the extension existed in the first place.

The questions is :

How can I solve this problem without doing those 3 above?

P/S In the screenshot, even firefox only uses about 200++MB of memory.

Safari 6.0.4

MBP 15" mid 2012

OSX ML 10.8.3

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion
