Q: using mini port to HDMI on mid 2009 powerbook pro 17"

Hi,

a question, thought I believe I saw the answer someplace before, I am having no issue with the video but I CANNOT GET sound

on/through the TV using the mini port to HDMI.

the powerbook is mid 2009, loaded, plenty of RAM etc.

I can mirror the display, separate them but I simply cannot get sound.

when I open the sound preferenses I do not see TV to port sound from...

any thoughts?
