How can I add a "Create New Text File" contextual menu?

Hi,

I'd like to add a "Create New Text File" contextual item. I found the "new text file" action in Automator, but I don't really know where to go from there... I want it to work on the desktop and in finder...

Thanks

Open Automator

In the "Choose a type for your document" window.. choose Service.

Choose "Text" in the leftmost column.

Choose "New Text File" or "New TextEdit Document" in the next (right column) and drag it to the middle of the Automator window.

Save as whatever name you prefer.

If you chose "New Text File" document, for example, you can highlight text, right click.. and the service will copy and paste that text into a new document. It will not open the document, however.

Choosing the New Text Edit Document will paste the text into an open TextEdit window (probably what you want).

to create a new file in one click, you want to use a droplet (a button inside the finder toolbar, which is accessible from any finder window).

After searching the web for more than one hour, I finally found THE ULTIMATE LINK:

and the text version:
