My sound isn't working! I've tried everything! I went to the sound section in settings, I've tried hitting the sound button, and the mute button, but its got this big circle with a line through it at the bottom. I need this fixed ASAP because my sister is graduating and they need to play the songs on my laptop!!!!! HELP??

No 😟 You know the icon of the sound at the top of the laptop? It's as high as it can go, but I can't move it, cause it's grey.... It says it's not muted, but no sound is coming out, and it even says there's no sound coming out...
I am not sure what is going wrong. Let me see what I can find out…
Is there a red LED light on in the headphone jack?
Hmmm....No.... I wasn't aware that there was a light there
Try plugging something into the headphone jack and taking it out again.
You may have to play around with this.

Thank you very much! I was having the same issue and this resolved it.
I played with this for about half an hour and nothing happened. Are you sure there's no other way to get you volume working, I mean, my earbuds work, but my speaker doesn't when I unplug my earbuds
