May 12, 2013 4:35 PM in response to BixPby turingtest2,Depending on the way you moved the library there may be a simple preference file fix. Select a broken track and press Get Info. cancel when asked to locate the file, then look at the location listed on the summary tab. Now find out where the file really is. If the two paths differ by an extra Music folder then iTunes may think it should be using the "new" layout when your media is in the "old" one, or vice versa. If this is the problem edit the iTunes Preferences.plist file in the media folder and change the line <integer>0</integer> into <integer>1</integer> or vice versa so that iTunes uses the correct reference for each file.
Alternatively, if you've restored the media folder to a different path, you can use my script FindTracks to repair broken links.
