Hiya,
my jbl flip 2 doesn't turn red/blue when you press the on/off button, đ And the macbook won'T see it at all đ
which is also weird because my dad had the same model, and a few months back when i was visiting it paired perfectly...
any ideas?
thx!

Just tried this earlier today and was able to get it to work.
1. Turn on Flip (short hold of the power button) - the power button should light up blue.
2. On your MBP, select "Set up Bluetooth Device" from the Bluetooth drop down in the menu bar - your MBP should start browsing for devices.
3. Hold down the power button on the Flip until it begins alternating back and forth from blue to red.
4. Your MBP should discover the Flip at this point and automagically pair with it. I didn't need to enter "0000" like I did when pairing it with my iPhone.
5. Under the Bluetooth drop down menu the Flip should be listed under Devices.
6. Go to the Flip in the menu and select "Use as Audio Device"
7. The Flip should chirp and sounds should begin playing via the Flip.
Hope this helps!
DELETE TWO BLUETOOTH FILES:
1. go to finder
at the top menu, under the 'GO' tab, select 'Go to folder'
search for '/Library/Preferences' folder
locate and delete 'com.apple.Bluetooth.plist'
2. go to finder
at the top menu, under the 'GO' tab, select 'Go to folder'
search for '~/Library/Preferences/Byhost'`folder
locate and delete 'com.apple.Bluetooth.******'
(****** this file will end in various numbers and letters, just get rid of it)
3. Restart mac

Hi!
I did step 1. and now my bluetooth list shows only letters and numbers. I put the file again inside the Preference folder and it didn't fixed it. How can I fix the problem and revert to how it was at the beginning? Now, I can't pair de JBL Flip 3 nor see the other devices names đ
Thanks!
