Notes on iPad crashes

Try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys, past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that clears it up.

No use, the notes still can not be used as open it and it closes it immediately .

You should restore you whole iPad 2 or contact Apple.

I had this problem with iPad 2 and iOS 7.0.3. Resetting the device, restoring from a backup and reconnecting to iCloud just did not work. But a little trick fixed the whole thing. From the home screen start a search and enter a few letters to find any note that you know you have viewed before. Tap on this search result to start Notes and it doesn't crash now.

Usoff's suggestion solved my problem without resetting my iPad, which for a while looked like the only possible solution. Thanks!

Thanks, Usoff. I really didn't want to reset all settings as many other posts suggested. Your search trick was an instant fix. I'm back in Note-land.
