The 4th and 5th generation iPod Shuffles are so similar, I'm not sure which one my daughter has. I found the model number on the back to be A1373. Any help would be appreciated.

It isn't possible to tell based solely on that; you need to find another characteristic, such as its model number or the last three characters of its serial number.

Click here and follow the instructions for the fourth generation iPod shuffle. Once you have it, click on the link in my earlier post and replace the A1373 in the URL with its last three characters.

If I did it right, I have a 4th gen with the last 3 "FDM".
That's the earlier 2010 model.
