ok i have an ipod video, after this new itunes update i have had issues. it asked to restore and update the ipod software, i updated and installed and now i am stuck in a loop. after update itunes says it has discoverd an ipod in recovery more please restore. help....

If you find that you are repeatedly getting the "recovery mode" message, you may want to take a look at the following article:

If you've restored your iPod and the message described above re-appears, the iPod drive letter may need to be reassigned. To assign a different drive letter follow the steps for changing the Drive Letter
Note: If you're not able to restore your iPod, refer toiPod displays "Use iTunes to restore" message for additional troubleshooting steps.
