hi, my latest thunderbolt update notification did not go away after installation and restarting my computer. please help!
The MAS detects it's software on mounted partitions and drives. Do you have a connected drive with a backup that isn't updated?
ya, thats what i read before i posted. i do not have any drives or mounted partitions.
Reindex your HDD.
u mean go through this (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2409)? u sure it will work? this sounds very ms windows and huge wastage of electricity to me, and esp so if it cant work.
The Mac App Store is aware of the apps on your Mac through Spotlight indexing. Many folks report that false update flags have gone away after reindexing their Mac.
I wasn't aware that Macs use huge amounts of electricity.
oh i see! what i meant was the process seems to be very microsoft-like, wasting time and energy.
