Q: Can I use same email address for face time on iphone as well as macbook?

Can I use the same email for facetime on both iphone and macbook? I tried and got email already in use.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Works on my iMac, MacBook Pro and iPhone...perhaps it is your email provider?

Its yahoo. When I type in my address it comes up as email verified for another apple id. This is strange? i have it on my iphone. I am registered with the games centre, although I have never used it. do you think this is what the problem is.
