My MacPro with OSX 10.7.5 does not sleep.
After it goes to a sleep mode it wakes up immediately.
The reason it wakes up says: UPS was connected or disconneted.
Is it a known problem?

It's a known problem with some UPS devices, yes. You can disconnect the USB cable, but then of course you lose automatic shutdown.
It is your cyber unit then.
I have 2 x 1000VA and 2 x 1500VA models from Cyberpower and Mac Pro has been used on all of them with usb. Before it was o n APC 1500VA RS.
Something else. Too small? You didn't list size model. I also gave modem coax and router rj45 run n ing thru it.
