UNABLE TO DELETE EMAILS

Im unable to delete emails from my iphone, I receive an error message stating that the message could not be moved to the trash. I have tried to sync my iphone with my emails on my computer but to no avail.

Additionally, Im unable to view the trash box on my iphone so I can manage it.
