I Can't Find Downloaded Pictures

I tried to download a few pictures by doing the following: Pressed "Control" key, chose "Copy Image." But I can't find those downloaded pictures on my Mac. Where should I find those downloaded pictures?

Power Mac G4 (QuickSilver 2002) Dual, Mac OS X (10.4.11), I also use MacOS 9.2.2

In the clipboard. You need to choose one of the Save options to download them to a file.
