Hi All
Using Studio 2 and it's been a while since I used my Final Cut. Doing some editing now again and adding text over a video clip background. However I forgot what to do here because the text covers just the bottom half of the screen. It's cutting off my last paragraph.
I need to raise up the text so it starts at the top of the window.

Use the Boris Title 3D text generator. It works so much better than the standard text generator. If you decide to stick with the standard generator, click on the Motion tab and use the CENTER control to position the text where you want it.

Okay As far as Boris is concerned I dont want 3D for these, just normal text. Letters are all way to thick.
Trying your second idea about Motion all that does is move the wireframe up and down in the canvass. I can do that manually. I need to get the text above screen center.
I hope I'm explaining this correctly.

I found what I was looing for. In Text, click the orgin button then I can position the text in the canvass where I want it without the wire frame moving.

boris is great for normal text (just ignore the 3D in the name).
Text won't fill the whole screen
