Problem with update
I started to update sofweare from 17 hours and still the same gray screen !! Is it freezd or what I have to do ? Please help

OS X mountain lion for MacBook Air
Were you installing OS X Mountain Lion for the first time, or were you simply installing an update for it? Do you have a backup of your system (hopefully you do)?
If the system is truly stuck and unresponsive, then try holding the power key down for a few seconds until it turns off. When off, try restarting the system to see if it will boot all the way. If it gets hung up again, then try rebooting with the Shift key held down, in order to boot into Safe Mode.
If neither of these work, then reboot with the Command-R keys held down to load into the Recovery disk, and then use the "Install OS X" tool to reinstall OS X on your system. Doing this will not delete any personal data, and will only reapply the system files underneath your user account and installed applications.
