How to download youtube videos to thumb drive?

You can install a Safari extension that will allow you to download YouTube videos in the Mp4 format, Click to Flash.

To get the Click to Flash extension:

A web page will open with a listing of Safari extensions. Scroll down the page and you will find the Click to Flash extension.

When you have Click to Flash turned on... right click on a video on YouTube:

The MP4 video will download to your download folder.

If you keep the Click to Flash extension turned on, web pages load faster that has Flash on it. If you need to view a Flash, click on the Flash place holder to load it.

Safari preference panel:

You have to convert the youtube videos to a video format (mp4, mov, mov, wmv etc) then it will save to your computer. Once you've accomplished that, then you can drag and drop the file to your thumb drive. Here's one website: www.clipconverter.cc/

You can use YouTube Downloader. It will download to a variety of formats, MP4 is one of them.
