Kingston KVR16S11/8 2x8GB in macbook pro 13'' i5 2,5

I'm upgrading my macbook pro 13'' I5 2.5 with 4GB ddr3 1600 of RAM to 16GB . I'm planning on using 2x8GB of this Kingston KVR16S11/8 (http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR16S11_8.pdf)
But I read somewhere that the 1,5V might be too much and a 1,35 memory would be much safer to avoid burnt motherboards and whatnot!
Which specs is the best???

Please help!!

Thank you!!

I'd look at different RAM. The one you linked is Kingston's "ValueRAM" line and has been fingered numerous times here as not playing well in MacBook Pros. Kingstons regular ("more expensive") series RAM always seems to work.

I've bought all out Mac RAM (and with 17 Macs in the family, that's a lot of RAM purchases) from only one place for over a decade. Perfect performance every time:

Their website makes it easy to find the right RAM for your MBP without overthinking stuff like voltages and the like.

Using memory that doesn't work properly will cause a malfunction, but nothing that would damage the computer or the memory.

I would recommend you visit OWC or DataMem to find the proper products for your model. They know if 1.5 v memory will work or not, so they will not recommend a product that would not work. That said some Macs can be finicky about memory, but these vendors will work with you if there is a problem.

Suffice to say what i was explaining earlier is that the computer supplies the power to the memory modules, not the other way around. The Mac supplies 1.35 volts to the memory modules regardless of what the modules are rated for. So, if a module requires 1.5 volts from the computer, then that module may not work in a computer that only provides 1.35 volts. However, many modules rated for 1.5 volts will work when used in computers that supply 1.35 volts. This means that memory rated for 1.5 volts will most likely work in a Mac.

I hope this is a clear enough explanation.

Thanks again with all the help guys!
I think I'm gonna go with this memories from Corsair, lifetime warranty and, from what I've read, they match 100% the specs of the OWC model:

And they're shipped within the European Union too! 😉
