May 17, 2013 7:28 PM in response to Allen Aby Charlie_K,A very useful article. I managed to determine it is a user profile specific issue. I tried the suggestion about moving preferences to the desktop, but It still freezes (with both copies) . I tried creating a new library, but it hangs up when I try to import anything. it also freezes in safe mode, and in selective boot mode. I tried using add/remove programs to repair itunes, quicktime, Bonjour, and Apple Software Update, everything except apple application support (couldn't repair). I hope someone has more Ideas.
