How to run Assassin's Creed 2 On Mac Mid 2007

I have a Macbook Mid 2007 running 2.0ghz. Here is the link to the exact kind:

I bought Assassin's Creed 2 from the Mac App Store and it is REALLY slow. Is there anything I can do to make it faster? I upgraded the ram so it has two 2GB ram slots. So I have the max ram I can get. Is there anything else I can do? Please Help
