Recently got Cogeco Internet, unable to connect ipad and iphone to wifi

cannot connect my ipad or iphone to my cogeco wifi, laptop is working fine though.... im wondering if this is an apple issue, and if anyone else has had this problem

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.2, ipad as well

I'd suggest verifying that the Cogeco router is configured in a manner that will be copasetic to all devices that are trying to connect to the network.
