Iphone 5 keeps turning itself off

That seems to be a good plan. If after the Restore with iTunes on computer, the problems continue, make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution under the 1 year Warranty.

I have this exact problem! And it only appears to happen when I take photos. Last weekend, the battery was at 32% and it kept turning off when I was taking photos with and without flash on.

It is really frustrating. I have been able to turn it back on without charging, i just keep pressing power button over and over, or leave it for about 10 minutes and then keep pressing the power button.

If it keeps doing it I am going to organise a Genius appointment.

Has anyone figured anything out with this? I've been having the same problem and recently did a restore but it actually seems to be happening more now. It has turned off while I've been on the phone as well as just while texting.. I have no idea what to do. I'm thinking since it has just started for all of us it may be due to the recent software upgrade?

I too have been having this problem at 9% battery a lot lately. Annoyed

Hi. I have exactly the same problem. I did a reset which worked fine the first couple of times charging and now it switched off at 25%. Well at least it's not 45% as before. Any suggestions? Should I take it in?

I'm having exactly the same problem and it started after I took 2 short movies and several pictures with my 4s. Did anyone from Apple attempt to offer even a suggestion about what to do?

I went to the apple store last week. They replaced my iPhone with a new one... I was told there's only a 10% chance that they could fix it and they could try of I wanted to keepy phone.
