I have the white screen of death. Rebooting does not work, I have tried alot. I heard yoiu can fix it by restoring it, but i do not want to lose all my data. I do not know when I last backed it up, because it wouldn't mind losing a little bit of data, but I can not re-backup because I need to enter the passcode. I can not enter the passcode becaude I have the white screen of death. What do I do?!?!

Try the following. It is very likely that you will loose al information on the iPod.:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
