How do I delete items that cannot be deleted

I was using garageband just to test it out, and it prompted me to save the file. I choose to save it to my desktop and it printed out two files. The first file was named "Test1" because that is the name that I designated to it. Then the second one that I cannot delete is band Test1.band. This Test1.band will no delete. I cannot even put it on a flash drive so it can go away.
