Q: Connect iTunes to Apple ID e-mail address

Hello Everybody

Getting the usual run-around with Apple, again !.

Just changed my e-mail address and password not a real problem (only 15 minutes to locate where to do it) with Apple ID etc.LOL

 

Now I want to have the same e-mail address and password for iTunes, as old e-mail address deleted/ erased.

 

When I get to the point of signing into iTunes I get asked for Apple ID and password ?

Having typed this info in, it is not recognised by iTunes and get sent back to same window asking the same dam fool question !! grrrr!!!

 

Please help with steps what to take to change present old/ deleted e-mail address and put a new e-mail address in it's place on iTunes.

 

Nothing seems straight forward with Apple, bless their socks.

    Did you change the email address linked to the Apple ID or create a new Apple ID?

     

    If the former, simply sign in with the new Apple ID.

    If the later, that was not a smart thing to do.

     

    Content is permanently tied to the Apple ID it is acquired with, there is no way to change this.
