How do I rest or re-index spotlight

How do I rest or re-index spotlight

My spotlight is not finding folders that I think it should find. For example it will not find "My Templates" folder.

Is there a way to re-index spotlight?

I am also running Alfred 2.

I recenlty installed OSX 10.8.3 (Mountain Lion)

I have run disk repair and verify disk and spotlight will not find "My Templates" folder.

iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3), hp photosmart , HP laser jet 2055dn

I tried putting hard drive in private and deleting from private and the situation did not change.

I think it might have to do with the way my super duper back-up is configured.

I was having some other issues so I just re-installed 10.8.3.

Spotlight is re-indexing...I will report back.

I have read some other support articles which suggest that super duper might be causing a problem.

Also, there is a re-indexing command in Alfred2 which I tried before, but not since re-installing.

I am open to suggestions.

But I will report back

Thank you for your time.
