iPhone 5 was snatched and I don't know if I had Apple Care or not, I can't remember. Any ideas?

Another option is to open http://supportprofile.apple.com, log in with your Apple ID and select the iPhone, so you will be able to know the warranty of the device
What difference does it make now? AppleCare is not insurance...

How does chiming in with a pointless comment almost a year after the thread died help solve the problem?
Because its still a question that i needed answered and it has been indexed by Google making your annoying snark timeless. I had to read it, so here's my feedback: this is the sort of thing that does not put the avg user at ease who for whatever reason needs help (no matter how unfathomable it is to you). Theres lots of these types of responses on these forums, people need help without the judgement.
Some people are just mean spirited. I had the same reaction. And it's two years later that I find this thread and it renews how unnecessary his comments are.
