Q: where do your photo stream photos store? I can not find mine anywhere within my icloud.

ive looked through that and it hasn't really been of any help as it doesn't guide you as to where they may ave been saved within a computer or where within the iCloud they might be saved.

Yes.  If you have a PC but don't have the iCloud control panel for Windows, you aren't syncing your computer with your iCloud account, and are not therefore receiving photo stream photos from iCloud directly to your computer.

 

If you want to back up photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there), then import them to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.  To save them to your camera roll, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll.

 

If you are running Windows Vista SP2 or higher and wish to sync your computer with your iCloud account and enable photo stream, download and install the iCloud control panel for Windows from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455.  Then sign into your iCloud account and turn on photo stream, as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html.

    They aren't visible on icloud.com (unless you set up a shared photo stream as a public website).  They are stored on Apple's servers but can only be viewed on an iOS device or computer syncing with your iCloud account with photo stream enabled.  On an iOS device, you can see them in your my photo stream album.  On a Mac, they are stored in iPhoto.  On a PC, they are in whatever folder is selected in the iCloud control panel for Windows (tap "Options" next to Photo Stream to see what folder they are stored in).

    I don't have the iCloud control panel does this mean my photo stream hasn't saved anywhere other than on my iPhone?
