I want to export my email addresses from address book or mail to a createsend or mailchimp account.
I bought the AB2CSV.app and yes, it exported the whole darn lot into excel but as a huge mess.
The only way I can see to do it is to go through the address book and copy and paste one by one.
Is there a simpler way.

i tried both after you replied...I think the reality is that I have a very untidy addressbook with lots of notes and so each entry in excel is loaded with ////////.
1250 lines of cleanup coming!
Did you import the .csv into Excel using the delimiter wizard (which you would have set to comma) yes or no.
If you did not you got something like this:
