I can log into my Apple account with my email address, and password, but using the same email log in I am not able to sign into iMessage. I have tried all trouble shooting suggestions, except return the phone.

Thanks Griff I did read all the trouble shooting section, and tried everything before I posted the question. I ended up going to the local Apple store, and they spent 1 hour on it before they reset the phone. Thanks for your help.
