Flashing folder with question mark keeps returning.

Hello,

I have had my MacBook Pro for a little under a year now and lately it has been acting up. The computer would freeze and when I restart it I get the flashing folder with a question mark. I have fixed this a few times by holding down the option key on startup and clicking on of the options that show up (sometimes it's Internet recovery and then at other times its macintosh and recovery) then I restart it with the original version. This has happened more then 5 times now and now I can only get Internet recovery when I restart with the option key. I'm not sure if I should send this in?
