May 17, 2013 4:38 AM in response to onnofromwilnisby wuzradioman,In order for your iOS devices to recognize and print to your printer it must be "AirPrint" capable. AirPrint is a specific protocol which allows a printer to communicate with iOS devices. There are Apps such as printopia which allow printing from an iOS device. However these Apps all have drawbacks, and are not nearly as good as using an AirPrint capable printer. This is the reason why your iPad and iPhone can't "see"your printer.

May 17, 2013 4:46 AM in response to onnofromwilnisby Bob Timmons,★HelpfulThe scan function and other functions like copy and maintenance are not supported when the all-in-one device is connected to the USB port on an AirPort router. Only the print function is supported.
If you need scan, copy, etc, you will need to connect the all-in-one directly to your Mac.
Try Printopia to see if it will allow your iPad to print. There is a free trial, so you will know in a few minutes whether it will work or not.
