I would run all availiable updates, reboot the machine and see if it continues. If it keeps happening, you may want to delete iTunes (your media and library will be intact, so no worries) and reinstall iTunes.
I had this problem the other day when I updated, but the next day no problems. The only weakness in this update I found was the inability to enlarge album artwork, but just hitting the Control key or Command key works to enlarge it.
The option to delete iTunes brings up the message: "cannot delete iTunes as it is required by Mac OS X"
I did the update the other day, but decided to download the full install and just do a reinstall to see if it stops the random crashing. The previous iTunes 11.0.2, didn't crash like this does in 11.0.3.
The same thing has happened to me - no problems with iTunes 11.0.2, but ever since upgrading to 11.0.3, itTunes crashes at least 1-2 times a day. I tried downloading and reinstalling the full install, but this has made no difference.
Same here. Maybe 11.1 or 11.0.5 at WWDC will?
I am having the exact same problem since upgrading to 11.0.3. iTunes unexpectantly quits every day or two, but if it is in the miniplayer/artwork view it will crash after about 30min.
Same here. 11.0.3 quits 2 or 3 times per day. I was sure hoping to find the answer here. Maybe a fix will be released soon.
This problem has been fixed for me by the iTunes 11.0.4 update. iTunes has been running continuously now for a week without crashing.
