nike plus speed displayed is incorrect

Hi -

I just replaced the sensor for my NikePlus linked to my 3rd gen Nano. Everything was working fine for the first couple of workouts - then I noticed that my pace seemed off. When I was running on the treadmill at 3 MPH, the nano would display the correct pace (minutes per mile). I increased the speed to 4 MPH and saw the minutes per mile drop. Same thing at 5 MPH. But when I was up to 6 MPH, my pace (minutes per mile) increased to match the speed I was at when running at 4 MPH.

I tried recalibrating but it appears as though the sensor is not correctly transmitting the pace to the receiver. Anyone know how to fix this?

thanks!
