unknown error occurred (-50) when downloading a video

I am running OS X 10.8.3 and the most recent version of iTunes 11.8.02 (hard to tell from the scrolling gray type on the About screen) and managed to start downloading. I got about 10 minutes in and the info showed about 50 minutes to complete when the download stopped and I received this error. i followed the troubleshooting steps to delete the cached file, but continue to recive the error. I turned off the Apple system firewall and still receive the error.
