Hi, If I change my email associated with my Apple ID, can use the old email for a new Apple Id?
I have the same problem, I've changed the email address on a new one I made but it still won't let me re-use it!
I think if I wait 24 hours once all Apple systems realise I've changed it, then try again, it will hopefully let me!
You can't reuse an e-mail address that has been associated with an Apple ID for approximately one year.
No; once an address has been associated with an ID it can't be used elsewhere.
My understanding is, if the old email address is no longer used anywhere, as an Apple ID or linked to an Apple ID, it is free to be used as an Apple ID. In other words, if it no longer exists in the Apple systems, it's like a new email.
Be carefull when you have multiple Apple IDs however as if you purchase Apps and such under multiple Apple IDs it can cause confusion and hassle when those Apps need updated. It's best to stick with one Apple ID for purchases, and if that ID or email gets outdated, rename it to the new current email rather than creating a new Apple ID.

I have accidentally made a new APPLE account with my main email address when I already had an APPLE account. I have changed the email address of the new account to reuse the email address on my original account but Apple ID account page still says the email address is in use!
Do I have to wait 90 days or something?
