Will AppleCare cover this

I have an iPad mini with extended warranty I had it for a while. I have dust under the screen at least three specks and they are in the middle of the screen. I haven't went to the apple store earlier because I moved somewhere and there were no stores nearby. And if they are able to replace it what will the replacement be like because mine is a little won but its not that bad. And can it be exchanged for an iPad of the same model but a different color?

iPad mini Wi-Fi, iOS 6.1.4

Went to the apple store today and they said it wasn't covered by the warranty but after research, many others got theirs replaced. Would you recommend trying a different apple store?

Just because you read something on the Internet about other iPad owners having their devices replaced for this issue doesn't guarantee that your iPad will be replaced. That is anecdotal evidence only.

All that aside ... Try another Apple Store and see what they say. You have absolutely nothing to lose but the time you spend trying.
