What do I do if when I turn on my ipod, there is a red x with a circle around it? It is giving me the itunes website to go to, but that is not helping.

During power up it is making a clicking sound. The ipod is unable to power up to the home screen.

Restore iPod from Disk Mode

- Disconnect iPod from your computer.

- Manually put iPod into Disk Mode.

- Open the latest version of iTunesand connect iPod.

- Restore iPod.
