Docking Speaker issue

So, my daughter dropped her Nano in the toilet. It was recovered, dried out, etc. and syncs/charges/plays/behaves normally . . . EXCEPT:

It no longer plays on her Logitech 5715i speakers, but WILL play on my iHome IP23. Does anyone have any ideas about why this might be? It will charge when docked to the Logitech speakers, but will not play. I'd love to recover that functionality, if possible. Any ideas are appreciated!
