These articles are years old, and do not track with AirPort Utility 6.x, which has been packed in with Lion and Mountain Lion for the past few years.
Updated information would really help users.

Bob is right in informing that theses articles do pertain with Airport Utility 6.x. The following article will pertain with that version.

Open AirPort Utility, located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder, select the base station you want to set up, and then click Edit.
as it will not "show up" in AirPort Utility 6.x as the article suggests. The article assumes that the new AirPort will display in AirPort Utility as it does in the earlier 5.x versions. This is not correct.
