Hey Navistars,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. You can extend your wireless network so that you can have a broader range around your home. The following article will explain what you can do with multiple wireless routers and the article after that will go into setting up extending the range.

Norm,
These articles are years old, and do not track with AirPort Utility 6.x, which has been packed in with Lion and Mountain Lion for the past few years.
Updated information would really help users.
Hello Navistars,
Bob is right in informing that theses articles do pertain with Airport Utility 6.x. The following article will pertain with that version.
AirPort Utility 6.x: Extend the range of an 802.11n network

Thanks, but unfortunately, the 6.x article is not relevant if you have new AIrPort that you are trying to install......
Open AirPort Utility, located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder, select the base station you want to set up, and then click Edit.
as it will not "show up" in AirPort Utility 6.x as the article suggests. The article assumes that the new AirPort will display in AirPort Utility as it does in the earlier 5.x versions. This is not correct.
