iTunes

Updated iTunes (11.03.) version. Tried to update some apps but got a message - all apps bought from app store.

You cannot update this software since you have not owned the major version of this software

Hi maenma,

If you are referring to the apps on your computer, the first step would be to click on the black apple in the top left corner of your screen, click on the App Store, and click on the Purchases tab. You should be able to update any of the apps you purchased there.

Check to make sure the purchases aren't hidden. This article will show you how:

Mac App Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases

Is it possible the app(s) you are inquiring about were not purchased under your AppleID?

One other possible resolution is to review the Spotlight indexing on your Mac:

Mac App Store: Cannot update App Store purchases or updates do not seem available

I hope these suggestions help ...
