Which is better iPod nano 7th gen or iPod touch 4th gen

I currently have an iPod touch 2nd gen 8 GB. I can no longer update it nor download from iTunes. I also do not have enough memory for all my videos and music. So I am considering buying a new one. I basically only use my iPod for music and videos and carry it in my backpack when riding the bus. I am trying to decide between the newest iPod nano and the 4 th gen touch. I am a little leery of the nano's small screen, but I've heard the 4th gen touches have extremely fragile screens. I don't care about retina screens or ability to watch HD videos, as I am visually impaired and can't tell the difference. What is most important to me is which one is more durable. Which one is less likely to be damaged considering I use it traveling on public transportation?

iPad 2, iOS 5.0.1

I would choose the Nano; it is much more portable because it is so small, and can easily fit in your pocket. The iPod 4th Generation has many useful apps, but they are memory eaters and if you are just using it for music and videos then the Nano is all you need. The Touch is definitely more fragile; it is very likely to get cracked especially if you're carrying it around a lot.

Normally a nano, but I perfer an iTouch and just like Anlan said for the nano,

it is much more portable because it is so small, and can easily fit in your pocket.

The only reason for the iTouch 4th gen is that one day if you lose it, unlike a nano, you can track a iTouch (chances of finding is 20% - 60%) and you can get the best apps like Facebook or Temple Run 2.

But if you want, you can go with the nano. Its all up to you.
