keyboard shortcuts

I was able to create a keyboard shortcut to switch open windows in all applications.

Now, I am no longer able to make finder use the shortcut I create.

This is what I do:

1 - I open system prefs/keyboard/keyboard shortcuts

2 - On the left pane I highlight Application Support

3 - I click the + button

4 - I give the shortcut a name when prompted

5 - I close system prefs

The shortcut does not work.

Is there anything I'm not doing right?

Thank you all

The problem is, I have an European keyboard.

Application and other OS X shortcuts on this link [http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1343] says:

Command-Accent (`) (the Accent key above Tab key on a US English keyboard layout) - Cycle through open Finder windows.

The key above the TAB key on my keyboard is not an accent.

Unless I change my keyboard for an US English keyboard, I will never be able to use this shortcut.

Thank you
