Direct midi connections between hardware and plug-in without screen controls...?

Hi there,

I don't seem to be able to make direct midi connections between my hardware and my plug-in parameters (guitar rig 5 in this instance) without going through screen controls. It seems to be a added feature of MS 2.2 though, which would be very useful to me:

"Direct connections between hardware controllers and plug-in parameters can be made without using screen controls."

Anyone can help? Is there something kind of a trick you need to know? I can't find any Info on this anywhere...

Hi

Basically, it is all in the Assignment & Mappings Tab in Edit Mode.

You activate the Assign 7 Map button on the right, send in the MIDI Message from your controller, and then map it to the required parameters via the Screen Control Inspector:

All the detail is in the Online Manual via MainStage Help menu. Search for "Assignments and Mappings Tab"

yes! I was suspecting that this Assignement & Mappings Tab should have some kind of purpose... here's one.
