Q: iSight not recognized by Messages Application

Hey all,

 

MBP early 2011. All of a sudden, Messages application doesn't recognize my iSight built-in camera. Every other app that uses it recognizes it: Facetime, photobooth. System profiler -> USB recognizes it as well.

 

Why doesn't Messages recognize my camera? I've reset my PRAM and SMU/PMC.

Macbook Pro 2.4 ghz, Mac OS X (10.7.2), 500 GB, 8GB RAM

So for reasons I don't understand in the slighest...

 

I woke up this morning. My computer was on, as it always is, from the night before. I launched Messages and it worked.
