Hi everyone,
I;m after an app that i can convert my videos with. I want a free app where i can add multiple videos and have them convert one after the other? does anyone know of a free app that i can get?
I know theres smartconverter (free) but you cant add multiple videos and i dont want to pay $10 for pro!

The MPEG Streamclip app can batch process videos. It can even convert up to 4 videos at the same time.
It's free...
Just drop as many videos as you like into the batch window.

if you convert 2 videos at the same time then it will take twice as long

Hi, I didn't mean like at the same time, I meant as in if I added like 3 file to the app, one will be going but the next will start straight after the other, so I don't have to keep adding file after file :) hope that makes sense :)
To encode one at at time set Simultaneous to 1. Mick, MPEG Streamclip will do what you want to do.
15 videos loaded into the batch window... Simultaneous set to encode 1 video at a time... When 1 video is done the next video start to encode.

Not true... I just encoded 3 1080p videos... 1 at a time and it took 7 minutes to encode all 3 videos. I set Simultaneous to 3, to encode all 3 videos at once... it took 4 minutes to encode all 3 video. Encoding 3 video at once was faster... almost twice as fast.
To access the batch window in MPEG Streamclip:
Drop the videos into the batch window and MPEG Streamclip will guide to what folder to save the videos too and what codec to use. When set hit GO...

now we can use math to calculate how many you need encode at once for it to be instantaneous 😉
