You cannot transfer to a memory card. Export of data/files is not supported.
If you connect your iPad to your computer you should be able to sync then off. Or they might be visible (on a PC) if you treat them like data, doubleclick on 'my computer' and double click on your device and navigate to the DCIM folder and drag the data off. But this is only if the files are stored in your camera roll or video folder.
Thanks Skydiver, I have successfully transferred photos and videos from my camera roll but only up to a certain size, larger iPad video files [4.8GB] [made in iMovie] are not visible on my 64bit Windows7 machine when connected with USB cable!
I have found a work-around using an app 'Wireless transfer app'. Works brilliantly – very simple. It can transfer photos & videos to and from my iPad, of any size. A separate downloadable program interface from the app writers installs on Windows7 – almost 'drag 'n' drop'.
Fantastic!
C'mon Apple, sort your export protocols out!
Another strong vote for WiFi transfer apps for moving images and videos to/from computer and iPad. Works smoothly and reliably.
To transfer files from apps such as iPhoto and iMovie on an iPad you you basically have to "Share" the movie to iTunes in the iMovie app on the iPad. Sync it with the computer then copy the file through the iPad's App syncing tab in iTunes in it's "File Sharing" box at the bottom.

The process is the same for pretty much any other app that can create, edit and save files to the iPad. It also works with the WiFi syncing built into iTunes and iOS although syncing large files by USB is much faster.
Thanks Stephen, but I do not have iTunes on my PC and don't intend installing it. Simple 'drag 'n' drop' is all I'm after...wireless transfer app seems to be the best solution I have found so far.
Hi Great at last someone has found a way.
I ve been looking, which app and by who woulkd you recvomend as its a mine field. My system is also a window 7 64 bit.

I've similar needs, I need to transfer videos from iPad to computer. iTunes can't transfer files from iOS devices to computer. Then I switch to another iTunes alternative. This guide helps me, How to Transfer Video from iPad to Computer.

Thank you so much for this. The wireless transfer app cost me around $4 and now the file is actually transferring when before I couldn't even see it anywhere. YAY!!!!
Thank you very much. Really helped, worth the $2.99. It was a real struggle until I came to this post. I thank the Lord for it.
